The Practitioner Action Research and Creative Methods Hub is a new strand of the LED Research Centre. The hub has been created to develop a community of critical and emancipatory research practice that contributes to social justice across professions and disciplines.
The Practitioner Action Research and Creative Methods Hub will:
- Coalesce a community of practitioner researchers inside and outside the university
- Forge connections between this community and relevant networks and associations
- Provide an online portal of key information about practitioner action research and creative methods including; research, examples of practice, tools, resources and events
- Network the community to sustain peer support for practitioner researchers at all stages of career development
The Practitioner Action Research and Creative Methods Hub is for you if you are:
- Interested in investigating and improving your practice
- Driven to achieve positive social change
- Focused on giving participants a voice in research
- Passionate about revealing and addressing imbalances of ‘power’ in the world
- Using a range of ‘creative’ methods and tools
