Welcome

The Practitioner Action Research and Creative Methods Hub is a new strand of the LED Research Centre. The hub has been created to develop a community of critical and emancipatory research practice that contributes to social justice across professions and disciplines.

The Practitioner Action Research and Creative Methods Hub will:

  1. Coalesce a community of practitioner researchers inside and outside the university
  2. Forge connections between this community and relevant networks and associations
  3. Provide an online portal of key information about practitioner action research and creative methods including; research, examples of practice, tools, resources and events
  4. Network the community to sustain peer support for practitioner researchers at all stages of career development

The Practitioner Action Research and Creative Methods Hub is for you if you are:

  • Interested in investigating and improving your practice
  • Driven to achieve positive social change
  • Focused on giving participants a voice in research
  • Passionate about revealing and addressing imbalances of ‘power’ in the world
